I am a freelance journalist, copywriter and sub-editor and write on a variety of subjects from interior design, property and personal finance to travel, parenting, and anything to do with the great outdoors.

My skills range from interviewing, writing features and blogs, to posting news stories online, sub-editing, working with photographers, editing, copywriting and picture research. I am skilled in presenting any topic in an informative and interesting way and relish the variety which freelancing brings. One day I could be writing a feature on reading in schools, the next I could be editing a corporate newsletter.

Blogging:
I also write my own blog South Bristol Runner about the trials and tribulations of city running and exploring the countryside and regularly contribute to Bristol Running Resource.

Interests:
I'm a crazy outdoorsy person who loves running, rock climbing and yoga and like nothing more than travelling around the countryside in the family campervan or by narrowboat. I have a huge interest in children's literacy. I have volunteered as a Better Reading Partner in my daughter's school for the past three years and have started to write children's stories.
